The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations resonate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine cult.

The questline focuses on "bizarre trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Changes

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an exclusive katana together with numerous items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
